The first step is to get together and discuss your needs and budget. This free no-obligation consultation will allow us to take a look at your current space and, through our years of experience, help find ways you could achieve your desired result whilst minimising the cost. If you wish to proceed further, we may also use this opportunity to measure the space, if you don’t already have existing floor plans.

If you are happy to proceed, the next step is for us to design your new addition. This includes creating the floor plans and front elevation concept of your new extension, as discussed at or in our initial meeting. We will present the design and quotation to you and make any changes before signing off on the plans for your new extension! This step does require a signed agreement and starts from just $660 for Ground Floor or just $880 for First Floor extensions. This covers the cost for us to create these concepts and complete the changes, to bring your extension dreams to life!

It’s time to get the ball rolling! We will require a 5%-7% Plan Order Fee, which covers:

• Dealing with council for plans, fees and inspectors
• Engineers to inspect and approve the designs
• Homeowners warranty insurance

We will handle all required approvals and administrative requirements to allow us to proceed to the next step – the build!

Alternatively, you can opt to simply purchase the designs at this stage for 2% of the project cost and choose another builder.

Once all approvals are in place and a final contract has been signed, and a 5% deposit paid, construction can begin! As your extension comes to life we will work with you to minimise the disruption to your life, and in most cases you won’t even need to move out. Progress payments will be payable based on milestones throughout the project, until your new extension is complete and ready for final sign off. The length of this step varies depending on the project, but we will be able to provide you an estimate during the planning stage.

On top of your 2 year statutory warranty on non-structural elements, and 6 years warranty on structural components, you’ll receive ongoing post-project support to ensure you are completely satisfied with your new extension.
